Product principle:

The RCA wear resistance tester uses specialized paper tape as the friction medium and applies a fixed load to the friction head. The friction head continuously applies force to the surface of the sample through a fixed diameter roller and a fixed speed motor to drive the rotating paper tape until the surface substrate is seen or a specific degree of wear is reached. The wear resistance of the sample is evaluated by the number of motor rotations displayed on the counter.
